Ultimately, most of you are missing the point about why this is ridiculous. The point is NOT that its three weeks late. The point is NOT that the NFL is takingthe fun out of the game. The point is NOT that the rules are stupid.



The point IS that this was mishandled in the Super Bowl by the referees, and could have drastically impacted the outcome of the game. (No Arizona fans, this isNOT why you lost the game) If what he did in the game was punishable with a fine, then it should have been a penalty. The three weeks later aspect isirrelevant. It could have come 1 day later, and the point would still be the same. If Santonio Holmes should get a fine for breaking a rule, then the refereesshould be reprimanded at the very least. If what Holmes does warants a fine, it warrants a flag. And the fact that the referees did not throw a flag, couldhave theoretically changed the outcome of the game.

Agreed 100% and that was no #*#*#++ fumble at the end of the game. The NFL needs better referees ASAP.
