I actually tried to watch both movies back to back and only got halfway through TR before I had to quit. This is so on point

That's been my main problem with the Purge movies even though I only saw some of the first one.

They don't go deep enough or get creative enough. Just appeal to the lowest common denominator for what the premise allows.

Just very lazy.
