Has he though?
The fundamental problem of Black people in America is in the way they are seen/portrayed/represented and the policies that are derived from that perception. What has he done to make Black folks be seen in a better light in this country? Nobody will write a children's book about the ascent of Jay-Z to rap's Mt Rushmore because we all know where he came from and what he rapped about.
Jay-Z helped himself. He did tremendously well for himself, and if a black issue was a money-making avenue for him, he was on it until it stopped being profitable.
Isn’t there already a thread for “Nas won”
yeah folks who say that are mad uninformedQuestion.
Folks are saying that getting Kap a job should be on of Jay-z's objectives.
Why is that the case? Did he SAY he was going to gdt Kap a job?

nas told us alreadyMore like Hov shouldn't have been down with Kap one minute then turned around and got into bed with the NFL the next.
What am I supposed to think when he parrots right-wing talking points that stereotype Black folks (the single parenthood comment) after riding on the Kap train? If it talks and acts like an opportunist, why should I think he is not? Jay-Z told us what he is, and I believe it.You seriously think this is the extent of it? I don't doubt he thinks with his wallet in a lot of cases, but all of a sudden he's all the way this or that?
It's not just the tiny clip. Go back to the OP and read the entire twitter thread. So you're actually running with that tiny clip shown from an entire forum on social justice reform?

Here's where Jay'Z's belief on what causes police brutality is problematic: by blaming "the broken family structure," he shifts the responsibility of police brutality from the cops who execute unfair laws, the politicians who design these laws, and the people who support them to the victims.
I will also assume that the premise his entire reasoning is based on (single parenthood causes insubordination) seems false considering that nobody seems to be able to prove that more than 50% of children issued from single parent households are averse to authority.
