Can't beat the Walmart prices thofam
Historically if you think about how imbalanced male/female hair grooming has been (price wise) you kinda see we were getting over for a LONG time.
Not excusing or trying to make anyone feel better about the price hikes.
Based on these prices I'm curious to see what other services your barbers are offering. I pay 60 and it covers a cut, shave, and a hair wash. He also provides snacks and a mini bar but even with that I look at his services and they can go up to 170 dollars. I respect his skills but ****

I get what you're saying but women typically go to the salon once every 2 months and drop a couple hundred dollars as opposed to men (at least black men) get their haircut every two weeks.
Wait you mean to tell me dudes charging like this aren’t even “master” barbers? Im thinking yall going to “The Man” whole time. They got you by the balls if you scared to cut your own hair.$50 tip included. But these waves not included
But yea I know I’m getting taxed nowadays
My main issue is if you’re gonna charge these prices then the work needs to back it up literally every single cut. No room for too much error.

Was going to the same lady for a few years. She did a good job, but once the pandemic started she went from asking me questions about what was going on in the hospital I was at to eventually bouncing all of her dumb conspiracy theories off of me. I tried to politely disagree and counter her with my experiences working in critical care, but as time went on she got more aggressive and unreasonable. It got to the point where I decided she wasn’t worth the headache anymore. Months later the salon was involved in some minor controversy due to making some Anti-LGBTQ+/“groomer” posts on social media.
That's what gets me with this current wave of IG barbers, everyone is in on it, not just the nice ones. At least the 1st wave of divas were something serious.Wait you mean to tell me dudes charging like this aren’t even “master” barbers? Im thinking yall going to “The Man” whole time. Basically “master ig barbers” and their clients who spend $150 for a cut.
