Find out what interests her, (doesn't matter what really) and then talk to her about them. Build up enough rapport, then ask her out.

If you have class with her, just wait and talk to her more often during class, you can't seem too desperate. Or do what HangTight said
 
You could ask her if she had any difficulty with something that she has to study for the test. If she says " no" then say you didnt have any troubles either and wait till the next test comes around.

Dont be so quick to jump on her, she might think you're easy

a lot of girls i know rather "chase" then be "chased"
