OK. I've been laying down in a pitch black room for the last 2 hours with this soundtrack of

frogs and water and all kinds of soothing

just not sleeping.

I've had sleeping problems since before I can remember and I don't know what to do. I'm cuttin' down on the trees, and now my life sucks.

I can't be the only one. Somebody shoot me some guidance.

I got a mean twitch when I'm sleep. I damn near knocked out my girlfriend once.

I won't even get into the sleep paralysis.

Tell me about it, I have the exact same problem

Cutting out as many lights as possible (and I'm not talking lightbulbs, I'm talking close the blinds to remove moon-light and cover up your eves withone of those sleeping blindfold things) will help a bit, since sleep paralysis has to do with light should help you out a bit, but it's still a problem Igo though regularly as well

yup if i can't sleep i have a quick session with lela star and then i usually knock out.

OP, eat foods with Tryptophan in it (an amino acid) before you sleep to see if it helps. A couple apples (my friend is a nutritionist) should hopefully help abit
Here's a list of other foods that contain it

Worst comes to worst you could just get drunk and pass out to ensure a good sleep

Turn off the TV and turn down the lights at least 30 minutes before bedtime.

Exercise no less than four or five hours before bed, although exercising regularly will really allow you to sleep well. Be sure to stretch your muscles dailybecause it will make your rest of higher quality and have you more refreshed when you wake up in the morning.

Do not have caffeine at least six to twelve hours before bedtime.

Avoid watching TV, playing video games or using the computer in the same room in which you sleep.

Make sure your bed is comfortable and cool and that your room is as quiet and as dark as possible.

Consider taking Valerian herb, a natural and over the counter sleep aid and relaxant. Also consider taking some melatonin, another over the counter drug Yourbody makes itself sleep partially by releasing the hormone melatonin so by taking some extra melatonin to simulate and supplement your body's release ofmelatonin.

Good luck and relax and get some sleep.

try taking melatonin a few times during the week...it is a natural sleep aid that doesn't havethe same effects as processed sleep aids

take melatonin an hour before bed, then stay in a your room with all the lights out, maybe tv on, and you'll be out in like 30 minutes

My problem is I'm an extremely light sleeper. I wake up probably 4 or 5 times throughout the night every night.
