Not hot as in 100 more like 80/75. Can't stand rain. Burning in the rain is no bueno. SD county best weather by far

In terms of extremes: very cold is not as bad as very hot or very humid. Of course it's more preferable to be like 75-80 degrees and sunny out as opposed to cloudy/rainy. But if we talking about sweating your balls off hot, I don't mind the cold over that. Because yes, you can bundle up, you can sleep easily with warm blankets. When it's too hot you just have to suffer

I had the unfortunately experience of having to travel to Tulsa, OK and Sugar Land, TX for work. I never appreciated A/C as much as I did for those two trips.
Spent 2 weeks as probably the only Asian in Tulsa for that time period. Probably my most miserable trip as Tulsa isn't the best sight seeing city.
The 2 weeks in Sugar Land wasn't as bad because I was able to visit with family while I was there.
But that feeling of walking out of a house/hotel and immediately feeling sticky is the absolute WORST. Couldn't even wear sunglasses cause the damn lenses would fog up.

Quick story about working in Phoenix in JULY back in 2014. 
so a group of us were working at an outsourcing site based in Deer Valley in Phoenix. after work, we'd literally go back to the hotel room agree on a place to eat dinner and hang out.
mind you, it was 100+ for majority of our trip, 90+ at 9pm and 110+ on our last week. yes, it was dry, oven heat and not humid, but it's incredible how hot it gets.
so one night we went out and as we're walking out of the restaurant, one of the dudes says "man, it's real nice out here" as he's letting out a long deep breath.
i look at him with a stoneface and reply "man, wth are you talking about? it's gotta be 95 right now!"
i said "nice out here would be being able to chill outside on a patio or something with a light jacket on."
obviously, dry heat > humid heat. but i feel for y'all that live in either of those types of weather.

Last summer's massive heatwave in Chicago all through out the east coast ruined my drive from California.
I was so excited to get to Chicago and the moment I got out of the car, I was dead. Had to take a cab to Cloud Gate because my wife and baby looked like she was going to die
