Why did they care about that domain?
My best guess is that the domain could attract people with poor literacy for scamming or phishing purposes. The owner could hypothetically turn that domain into something nefarious, with young kids as the target group.

Microsoft might also just want to avoid confusion.

I own the email “thewhitehouse@gmail.com” for example, which receives tons of emails from idiots who genuinely think it’s a White House email address.

Ideally you want to avoid such cases.

This also triggered the mini ice age that lasted until 1850. We associate Christmas with snow now a days due to Charles Dickens growing up during the coldest decade in England in 100 years which occurred at the end of that ice age. When he would write about Christmas he was reminiscing about his childhood which was filled with snowy Christmases.

A tale of “the jokes write themselves”:

SuperShe island was a retreat getaway for women only, created by American entrepreneur Kristina Roth in 2018. It was an island apart of Finland. Strictly no men allowed she charged $4675 a week for women to stay as they host many activities.

Out of the 8500 that initially applied only about 2000 got accepted through Roth’s crazy vetting process.

The only time men were allowed was right after she purchased the island. male construction workers were working to lay lines for power and water and gut renovation. And personal male friends of Roth’s only

In 2023 she sold it to a man for €1 million
