I was fired because....

Worked at a telemarketing company for 2 months. Near the end of my shift, got called into the office and had a group of people tell me I wasn't performing as well as I did when I first came aboard. Fired me.

I was pretty embarrassed to go home and tell my parents :lol . I was 15, at the time.

Working at grocery shop at 16 and I had to to return a cart full of items and restock them. I find some hair grease and open the tub and put some in my hair lol...3 days later they saw me on video and fired me.

Worked at a convenience store for a brief period. Once called in on a manager who came to work drunk.

A few weeks later she got me fired by saying I sold alcohol on Sunday. I didn't . I wrung it up and voided it before selling, all shown on my till. However, I was just a kid and didn't do anything about it.

Worked at a plant facility as a tester when I was 19. My supervisor would hit on me and try to buy me things. I refused , however it ended up p-off my new supervisor who had been having an affair with him. She was in her mid 20s and just picked and teased me. This woman used to find me on my breaks to inquire about tests. Ended up getting written up, suspended for BS, and after vomiting on the floor before work , I sent in my badge through a coworker.

Cool story Karlrep.

I got fired from Circuit City after the Christmas season because we had access to adjusting the prices on open box products. My boy who was working their before me adjusted a price and had me ring up a desktop tower for him. Cant remember the price but it was an HP with the dual core at the time, If the OG price was $450, he made it $150. I come in on my day off to help out and was called to the back room. I was questioned and told them what I knew but they didnt care. Fired me. They did it in such a way that I wasnt even mad. Said some **** like "we have to involuntarily separate you from the company." Never heard it put that way before. I got the last laugh a month or 2 later tho.

Used to work there. Anyone with manager codes (which most customer service associates did) could change the price on anything. I'm sure some crazy deals were had, I remember this one girl getting caught for having her people bring in their old tv & exchanging it for a brand new one :rollin What's even more funny is that our manager stayed talking about she'd prosecute anyone for something as small as soda or gum, but the internal theft that went on in there was :eek Anyway got fired from there for racing the forklift when I was too young to operate it at the time :rollin

:lol I have a friend who's a supervisor at the Sam's Club electronics department. He told me if there's anthing wrong with the TV or even any kinda damage on the box, he's supposed to throw a discount. So he told me if I'm ever in the market for a TV, hit him up and he'll punch a hole in the box as well as throw in some other random excuses to give me a discount. :rollin

Many years ago when I was going to college in Alabama I held down a gig at Arby's. So I'm working the drive-through and this lady comes through and orders damn near $150 worth of food, cool, whatever, I ask her if she would like drinks, she replies "yeah, I want 5 Diet Cokes" I tell her we don't have Coke and would Diet Pepsi be alright, she then proceeded to curse me out and call me stupid because Arby's beverage contract is or at that time was with Pepsi. She is snapping on me and calling a stupid mf and what not, and she wants to talk to the manager, I invite her to come to the window where my manager is, she is talking to my manager and she is being calm and decides that Pepsi would be alright, I make her drinks, but I'm fuming mad, and she looks at me and says "I hope you like it here, because you're too stupid to make it anywhere else". My manager just stood there and didn't do anything. I'm like cool, I hand her four drinks in the drink tray. She goes on another rant about the last drink, she's cursing and insulting, so I calmly say ma'am just pull up and I will bring it to you, she was backing up the line, my manager still standing there not defending me or anything, the lady is like "f the people behind me", but she pulls up and is still going on, so I take the drink and walk in front of her car and stand there and with the power of Nolan Ryan I threw the drink at her windshield as hard as I could. I would pay to see the look on her face all over again. I walk over to her window and I let her have it. I called her every name I could think of, I went all in on her, I saw her kids and went in on them. My manager them runs outside to bring me back in and try to calm me down, too late. The woman drive off with the cup still wedged between her hood and windshield. About 30 minutes later her husband comes up there to try to raise hell, I walk from my drive through "bubble" and with out hesistation I walk right up on him and square up and I invited him to fight right there in front of the counter, then when my boys came from behind the counter dude all of a sudden wanted to apologize for him and his wife. Ended up getting suspended for two weeks, came back from suspension and quit and talked to the district manger and got the store manager fired.

:lol total duck tales bruh. Nice try. You stood there and got roasted without saying a word. You also probably do still work there, b.

I used to work for Chase, doing tech support for their website.

A guy calls in says hes having trouble logging in. I ask him to try to log in. He does his thing, it fails, I tell him to read to the error message.

HIM: "User Id or Password is incorrect.." Before I can even reply, he ask if he needs to contact his internet provider.

ME: "Pfhtrskjhf :lol Noooo.....I just means your password was wrong.."

Two days later, they fire me for laughing at the customer.

Shoulda never switched to day shift. :{

lol @ karma

CC doesnt exist anymore and this 'story' is a lot of years ago. I knew of some people who would wait for a customer to buy a nice TV, the associate would reprint that receipt and have someone later on go and claim an identical tv in the warehouse. Lets just say this went on for a minute. The whole squad had Bravias.

i was fired for giving a guy a light head butt before, we got in a heated debate.

16 I was working @ Circuit******.

I camped out for the Xbox 360 the night before, and my managers/co workers said hi to me in line and everything.

Well, the next day when the line started moving, I got to the front to buy mine, and they told me that they couldn't sell me one because I was an employee :{.

I went off and started telling people not to buy City advantage (that's how they made profit), etc.

I went on craigslist and posted their phone # saying this Circuit City has 360's in stock, and to ask for the manager by name. Phone was ringing all day and the manager kept getting phone calls :p .

But, in the end, I was fired for telling people not to buy the city advantage.

Got fired from a few jobs but i dont want to list them all... so 1 job i was a temp and was there for not only a week and i was talking to this chick that worked there... i was talking about how the pay sucks and she was saying how she doesnt gossip and only talks about office related stuff... i was like whatever... next day i find out from my agency i got canned... it had to be about that girl snitching on me but i dont even care... the second job i got let go because i wasnt learning quick enough... i wasnt even there like 3 weeks but i guess i wasnt understanding what they were teaching me and they thought i wasnt taking it seriously but i actually was because i was there taking notes... the training was OD dumb it was like a month plus long... so they let me go on a friday afternoon right when lunch started...another job i got fired from was this law firm i made a few mistakes on this 1 project and the attorney i was working with complained to my supervisor and made me look bad... she was like making it seem like all i do was make mistakes but i was not even 2 months on the job and told her to just have some patience and i will not make the same mistake... but as the weeks went by there was something new she complained about me which wasnt true but made me look real bad... my supervisor knew the attorney was lying but my director the boss wasnt having it and believed everything... next thing you know im getting canned by the HR... it didnt help that i made 0 eye contact with the attorney and acted as if she didnt exisit but still did my job regardless...

Never been fired. But I have been laid off. That was a bittersweet feeling. Newspaper company was going down anyway.....They gave me an OK severance package and the fact they did it in the summer time was a bonus.

I couldn't have that job, I'd get fired, I'm such a sarcastic *** :rollin

"Do I need to contact my internet provider?"
"Yeah man, matter of a fact you should buy a new computer, and maybe a high school degree if you have some money left over"

ive never been fired from a job but ive had to fire people and i much rather do the firing than be fired

Agree with this.

I was the GM at a sporting goods store in the mall. It seems like I had to fire people every week. Once the owner felt a certain way about one of the workers it was over for them. Fired a girl bc she graduated college.

Worked at McDonald's in high school and got fired for eating a sundae :lol. Customer had originally ordered a sundae but wanted an ice cream done instead. I was not gonna throw a perfectly good sundae so I went in the back and took to eat it and as soon as I took I bite my manager walks in. I immediately threw it away and tried to play it off like the sundae cup cracked. She sent me home and my next shift they let me go. I wasn't even mad :lol

Never been fired, but I walked out of my job at TJ Maxx in high school. Managers were all disrespectful, I put my two weeks in and just left during one of my last shifts, didn't show up for the rest

****, I got fired from my first ever job. :lol :{

I worked in the deli at our neighborhood grocery store, so once the summer came and BBQ season was open, I'd change the tare weight on all types of steaks and kabobs. I'm talking about 10 cents/lb. My mom would always wonder how I was coming home with all these fantastic cuts of beef, but she never really asked. So I kept doing it and then I slipped up one day. I was in a rush and checked out with an old lady that worked there instead of the homies. She snitched me out and I got a phone call the next day from the deli manager telling me not to come back. Didn't step foot in there for a couple of years. :lol

Also in college I got canned from a Parks/Rec job. The park I worked at was dumb far from my house--a good 20 miles. I had to work at 8 AM, which never mixed well with living in a party house for the summer. I had a tendency to be a few minutes late here and there, but nothing crazy. But my boss wasn't having it, so he made me sign an agreement saying that if I was going to be late and didn't let them know, that I'd be fired. It went well for a month or so but then one night we threw a party and I ended up smashing an ex. Woke up in the yambs around noon and never bothered calling or showing up again--I knew what time it was. :lol
