if it's no big deal then they shouldn't take offense if their vids are exposed as fake then right? let alone elicit such a litigious response 
yes, it's only entertainment. most of it was amusing at best but finding out that its not genuine reactions really turned me off. there's a show called what would you do (or something like that). i wonder if people would keep watching if they found out the reactions were scripted. all entertainment right?

Yes I know that. But I am not about to be out here doing what he's doing. He's not making movies like ms doubtfire. He's faking stuff like jumping off a bridge to get reactions from people. That's different man. If someone approached me for a cooking show or something like Eddie huang hell yeah I'd do it. That's something I could do and genuinely be into it.

Again, he is acting man. You know how many actors do things that EYE don't think I would do either? That doesn't take away from the fact that they are still acting.
The whole CONCEPT of television (now YouTube (SAME THING)), is for the user to suspend disbelief.
It isn't different at all. You only call it different because you grew up on television, well YouTUbe IS television for a new generation of kids.
Like seriously step back and think about what "we" are complaining about.
A person, on camera, doing things for attention. And getting paid for it. That is what theatre is.

you're right DC. he never claimed his vids to be authentic. his main goal is to get more views, which he did in spectacular faction and i have always admired that aspect. i'll be on facebook and i'll see one of my friends here in hawaii "like" a fousey vid that was shared by someone in amsterdam. dude has global coverage. and this was the dude that once asked people on NT to PS his birthday flyer was back in the day. my opinion is only that it's disingenuous and nothing more. now i'm here wondering how many parents coached their kid's responses on the jimmy kimmel halloween candy vid

Yeah I think we are. I'm not giving him props on any of that. But yeah he made some money. Cool, a lot of people are making money. There is plenty of money to make without looking like a clown. The fastest way isn't always the best. Where will he be in 10 years? We won't care about him so he better invest his money wisely while he's still got it. I'm sure he will, he seems like a smart guy. Your first mil is the hardest. He got that so it's nothing to keep it coming in.

YouTube does contracts and pays you by the view. There is different pay scales too for YouTube. Big boss Jody explained it to me but it was confusing as hell.
