don't they have physical evidence that he was at least involved in the robbery (and was at the scene)?  if that's true then he's a co-conspirator, and the fact that it ended up in a murder would make him criminally liable for that too...

Yea, even if he gets an appeal the evidence against him and shorty were unquestionable. I think he only avoided life because they couldn't figure out who actually committed the murder.

max was definitely not at the scene of the murder/robbery. he wasn't even a suspect until he was implicated by his "girlfriend" who was actually there when the %%*! went down.

as far as i know, the only evidence apart from her testimony is that max's brother (who did the shooting) called max's phone over a dozen times after the robbery.
