Is YAO done?

He not but he'll never be what he was or what he could've been at this point.

this. if he plays 24 minutes a game, he should just go hard all the way and not worry about fouling out. he still will draw a double team at the very least, which will open up shots and space for others.

I know What If's are stupid, but I honestly believe they would have beat the Lakers in '09 if Yao hadn't gone down. Best shooting center I have ever seen.

I really wonder if those injuries could have been avoided, or not been as severe, if China didn't work him so hard in the off-season. Communism FTL.

Dude had some nice moves and was a way above average center who got some bad luck .

He's done being one of the best Centers in the League, that designation goes to Dwight, Bogut, and Lopez currently.

Done being a legit starting Center? Definitely not.

He's going to be limited probably the rest of his career, it is what it is, but he's still ultra-talented.

Not saying you are wrong but if this is the general consensus around the league then, aww man how i miss the 80's n 90's NBA

I might be biased but i really think w/o Yao they matched up better against lakers that year. They were an extremely fast paced team when Yao was gone and that kills Lakers.

Yeah I hear you but at the end of the day you need something to combat two 7 footers playing at the same time

*sidenote* lakers will keep winning the championship until their opponet in the finals can play two 7 footers simultaneoulsy...one really good and the other decent alongside at least 2 other good players, one stellar player and a good bench (lol, this obviously does not look likely anytime soon therefore I don't see the lakers losing the ring anytime soon
