The 2018 Nominees
Donald Trump - The biggest clown in modern history, and reigning 2017 Turkey of the Year, gets another nomination for his comments on the NFL, on players in general, on teams that don't and won't go visit the White House. Still is butt-hurt the NFL didn't allow him to become an owner years ago. But good news is that he at least still has Dana White.
Bryan Colangelo - Months have passed and many have forgotten this man. We however have not. Lost his job and reputation in June after The Ringer's investigation over his and his wife's Twitter burner accounts blasting his own players. Much like Manti Te'o five years ago, the entire saga was one of the most "you can't even make this stuff up" moments we have ever seen.
USA Gymnastics - Over 300 gymnasts have come forward with allegations of sexual assaults. The more the details have come out, the worse the entire situation has looked. Larry Nasser. Michigan State. Too many others turning a blind eye to list here. One of the most disturbing stories we have ever witnessed.
Kellen Winslow II - Was arrested in June and charged with 1st degree burglary. Was then arrested a week later for on charges of kidnapping and rape. Details of his history range from exposing himself to various older women....to raping an unconscious 17 year old. Is currently on house-arrest awaiting trial.
Urban Meyer - I think everyone will agree 2018 has not been Coach Meyer's happiest year. It started with a suspension and baffling comments. It continues with looks of exhaustion on the sidelines. Rumors continue that this may be the last year for him, so a nomination now is granted.
Jon Gruden - The butt of jokes throughout 2018. We still don't know if Coach Gruden's master plan is going to end up working, but for here and now almost everything that has happened from his hand has been an embarrassment and definitely worthy of a serious nomination.
Cleveland Browns - Things are slightly looking up, but any team that is on a 7-55-1 streak and was rumored to be interviewing Condoleezza Rice for the head coach position deserves a head-seat nomination.
Le'veon Bell - Ended up skipping the entire 2018 season because he didn't want to play under the $14.5 million franchise tag and possibly getting hurt going into free agency. Whether this is a good move or bad move is up to your interpretation.
