but S!!!, my exgirl (white) has short hair...I LOVE LONG Hair.

Many black women aren't patient enough with allowing their hair to grow.

Black women's hair is a complex thing to understand. Very flexible and unique. Various hairstyles I am sure you have noticed rule their world.

Many of them also use too many chemicals in their hair that slows down the growing process. Many end up BALD/Thin Hair because of the whole relaxing process.(Go see Good Hair). Which is why I will be against my daughter perming her hair (different story)

YES there are black women out there with long hair but for the most part you don't see that when compared with other races of women.

I only know a hand full of black girls with actual long hair. But the problem is just what other's have been saying. They process their hair to the pointwhere the chemicals stunt the growth of their hair.

I personally love long hair though, so girls lose points in my book regardless of skin color.

They've put some much chemicals and *%$# into their hair trying to make it long and flowing and straight to please the like of NT dudes that it barelygrows anymore.

Women don't do things to please men. They do it to compete with each other. They could give a damn about what we like about their hair man.

Of course they ORIGINALLY started relaxing their hair to make it like European women, but I think that REASON is no longer the case. Origin yes, reason now, Idon't think so.

They just feel it LOOKS good. I guess some feel it is worth the pain and displeasure
