Why when someone doesn't like an "intellectual rapper" he doesn't understand? I'm 100% honest when I say I GET JAY ELECTRONICA, I have a degree in Political Science and Philosophy...well I will in May, I GET JAY ELECTRONICA. I just don't feel him like that. I think I presented fairly well thought out arguments on why I think he's overrated. Maybe you don't get those, as I've said time and time again,JAY ELECTRONICA HAS LITTLE TO DO WITH WHAT HE IS RATED AS, it's all the fans, and fans like you are the reason I'm saying he's overrated, he's not some mystic on the mic, he's a southern rapper with some up north swag. He's good, no doubt but he is not as nice as he could be. Honestly I think Wale is better, Kid Cudi is better etc....Wait let me say why. They are both very very honest with every bar they write, the difference is when they rap about the slums they do it in a way that can still sell records, when Electronica does it, he just doesn't have "it." Sorry to bring him down to earth, but an endorsement from Lupe Doesn't mean to much...Wale has one of those also.

SMH...your continuing to prove that you don't understand.  Its not even about liking his music or not.  You called him overrated and pretty much said he was a fraud.  That proves you don't get it.  Your talking about which artist is honest or not like you grew up with them.  YOU DON'T KNOW THESE PEOPLE.  I think you just being difficult and don't wanna feel like your one of the bandwagon Exhibit C fans.

You can' t fight Niketalk, especially since there is a lot of d riding of artists in here. When he's being compared to Lupe, overrated. When XXL has him on their bracket, Overrated. When people type furiously behind thier keyboards defending some dude that's is only as talented as any of the other "underground " Mc's,  he's overrated. As stated overrated =/= skill, as 'artist vision' =/= skill. If you don't think he's overrated read some of his youtube comments, check other blog sites, talk to any hipster that listens to rap. Trust when I find someone who actualy does listen to Jay ElecHanakah, there is nothing but praise and admiration for a rapper that hasn't "proven" anything.
