i would like the 5s but man im just not that thrilled to have another pair that will yellow in a couple years like my cdp's. i gotta pass or either sell the cdp

The IV's are definitely going to be copped, but I'm torn on the III's and V's. I really both, but if I can find a way to get some of the NA WC III's before then for non rape price I'll probably pass on the III's (very unlikely I know.) And the black tongue fire red fives are my second favorite V colorway behind only the grapes (which I will definitely be copping), but the lack of the 23 just kills them for me! I love my 06 pair, but they are definitely showing wear. I just don't know if I'd rather buy these coming out this year, or try to find a nice pair from 06.

I still have the Fire Red 3's and I'm planning to send them in for a restoration...

anyone know why they took the 23 off the fire reds with the black tongues? or if thats really how its going be cuz that seems kinda weird to take it off the pe verison that was the only one to have the 23 originally lol

I sold my IIIs and my Vs are beat the eff up! I need them back and those IVs lookin wet!!

Just copped a pair of CDP 5's so im definitely copping the 3's and 4's. No need in getting another pair of 5's when they gonna be just as yellow as the CDP's in no time. I need to get a crispy pair of 3's anyways

Sorry, but the whole appeal for me on the IV was the suede and how it popped. These are now a dull, light red that doesn't pop. It almost mutes the white in contrast too. How they managed to take the Carmelo PE's and turn them into a turd sammich is beyond me, but PASSSSSSSS
Also: let me clarify that I don't think Durabuck in itself is garbage by any means. We've been clamoring for the material on numerous releases where we got poor quality nubuck, but it doesn't work on this release.
How do you not use Durabuck on the BReds, Cavs or Thunders but then put it out on a red colorway where it doesn't even look as good as a high quality suede would?

And to add to my last post, imagine for a second the Lightning IV's using this same Durabuck material. They wouldn't pop either. The whole point when you give an IV a primary color on the upper is to make it pop! It just baffles my mind that they won't use this material where it's warranted and manage to ruin a good CW with it instead. One can only hope they don't release the Lightnings this year.

Wish they used the same as the actual raging bulls and the pimento air max 1s that red suede really pops this just looks dull so i understand where you're coming from.
