Jordan 11 Low Snakeskin - April 19th 2019

cars are cars man, when you work on cars its all the same Ford or Ferrari and ive worked on both. the only difference is how each company builds their cars. even with the older air-cooled porsches and the new water-cooled cars when working on any porsche you will see similarities of how companies build cars. when you go to a mechanic school they dont teach you how to work on every different brand because their cars and are all the same. but each auto company does things slightly differently so when you work for dealers they might send you to their brand specific school . bottom line is if you can work on cars you can pretty much work on any car its all the same.

Yeah I was speaking more to more complicated issues (I.e. engine-related ones) than simple maintenance like changing out the battery or changing oil, fluids, etc. I’m sure the cost of aftermarket parts on older, rarer vehicles also comes with a higher price tag but, to your point, if you have the knowledge to perform this kind of maintenance, you save yourself tons of money on seeing an auto mechanic to do so. I’m sure there is tons of info on the Internet written by auto-enthusiasts to address any of these issues though, it’s just about being able to correctly do this kind of work yourself.
I was, too. You aren't going to really work on Porsche engines yourself unless you have a ton of knowledge/experience. The good independent specialist shops are the go-to move for that work as well. Yes, you can do oil changes etc yourself, but that's not really where the money suck comes in. (It costs me $100 or so to change it myself just because the car takes 9 quarts of synthetic oil.) But either way, trust me, a good independent P-car specialist is something you want if you own one. Anyway, I think we've derailed the thread enough, not like anything else was happening in here LOL

Are you a mechanic? Sounds like it. You are right, anyone who really works on cars and is used to it can do a lot of this. But it's not always apples to apples, at least not for your average person. To change the damn intake filter on a 991 Porsche, you have to remove the car's rear bumper cover. I know that's not actually really hard to do, but things like that add a layer of complexity not everyone is comfortable with LOL

I have a pair of the 11 low bone snakeskin coming in soon. Can you guys point me to some legit check videos so I can see what flaws to look out for in particular with these 11 lows?

I actually held off from buying because I know you like to double and triple and a billion up, and these would be no different. You got a lot of navy snakeskin lows waiting for this fit, you sharp dressed man.
Now I really regret sending these shorts back
I had completely forgotten about those trash bags till I saw them pop up on the NDC sales page an email from Nike steered me to.

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure. You can be honest with me here. Let’s face it, you bought them, but couldn’t wear those trash bag snakeskin shorts because your girl would drop you at the sight of them. Also, with the material, she would hear you coming from a mile away.

If the material would’ve been right, I would’ve gotten the shorts and that would’ve pushed me to buy the shoes.

Not only all of that, but also I was sure they'd be downright nasty to wear once I started sweating in them
You're so right, though: If they had made them out of a nice material but with the same colors and pattern, and especially without the big JORDAN down the left thigh, they would've been fire. Total missed opportunity.

Dude, they always do TOO MUCH! Exactly, nice material and drop the big JORDAN down the thigh. The shorts would’ve been perfect. I would’ve bought both colors.
