Myself and my dad both had these when they released in 06 and the only MAJOR difference to me is the saturation of the icey blue sole and the overall shape, which is to be expected because this is the new mold they’ve been going with that— according to them—is closest to the OG. That being said, based on pics, there’s really nothing too offsetting about these. I’m in for a pair and I can’t wait to get them. I never thought they would bring these back but I’m hype for them.

I don't hate these, just don't understand this release. Aren't we due for the black tongues? BTW, the green is too bright on these. Or maybe it's just my imagination...

Green is brighter for sure. 3M is a different shade of grey as well.

i was working at the beaverton employee store when these dropped. it took them a couple weeks to sell out (a few pairs made it to the hash wall). i remember these, and the burgundy 5's coming out around the same time.

I kinda “liked” the burgundys at the time but wasn’t interested in them at all. they were also considered an LS+ or whatever it was and i had no shot of getting them at retail. Plus, i loved the brightness of the Geeen Beans and how crazy they were for the times.
