Banned 1's were available everywhere though. A buddy of mine got 2 pairs from Jimmy Jazz.

but a ton of people missed out on these at the same time.
We need to stop with the generalisation: "I missed out, this was a bad release". "I got my pair..easy cop" etc. All that means nothing in the grand sceme of things.
