Jordan retro's will get a $20 increase this holiday season..

JB doesn't give a damn and nor do its consumers who find it almost necessary to buy every retro whatever that comes out on a weekly basis. They might as well raise the price to $250 a retro since dudes on here will still go ape **** anyway over a new colorway/material on an old antique model.

I swear for the money some people on here spend on Nike and Jordans per week they could probably buy out a high priced escort for a couple weeks in Vegas.

Don't buy anymore sneakers and just purchase some Nike stock. With the growth potential they are talking about you'll be laughing with them all the way to the bank.

If people are really this concerned with a $20 increase maybe they should find a less expensive hobby than participating in the circus that is the sneaker game.

That's a VERY steep price increase...

I kinda don't believe it. Maybe the XI, but I don't see retros going from $170 to $190. I DO think the goal is for retros to eventually hit $200, but gradually, not so abrupt.
They did that with the foams only that they put a "premium " tag to their name

You're missing the point. Why should we accept a $20 increase if nothing is changing, such as quality, with the shoe? I don't think anyone has a problem paying the extra $20 if the quality is up to par.

I guess this is a sign of the times though. People calling this a "game". I consider this a hobby of mine. A hobby that I'm slowly backing away from. I find myself increasingly being bored with where the brand is headed.

$20 increase is not as bad as people trying to come up $50-$100 over retail on general release Jordans. Still...sucks pretty bad that prices are going up. I was already selective on the shoes I buy. This might put me over the top on really deciding what I actually want.

Is this price hike 100% confirmed for all Jordans or just some Holiday ones? It seems really hard to believe they would jump $20 in price and not maybe $5-10 like they have been in the past.

Two very good suggestions about how to spend your money that are infinitely better than spending it on basketball shoes with 20+ year old technology and design.

The good ol days when I could walk in days later and still only have shell out $125 for a GR even quickstrikes and Lifestyle releases were only running you maybe $145. Im very selective nowadays on what i cop View media item 892528with these price hikes
