Finally able to order my 11.5 on Champs, hopefully, they ship. The quality on these looks good from what I've seen.

The quality is very good. I compared them to my maroon’s and the white/navy pair is definitely streets ahead.

That makes sense in retrospect since I acknowledged multiple times that I don't recall these being released in fall 2000. Thanks for pointing that out.

It's awkward that I don't remember these in 2000 but I do remember the Olympic VI being released sometime in summer 2000. I also remembered the Olympic VI because Ray Allen wore them in the Olympics that year since he had a Jordan Brand hookup.

I'm glad I passed on the 2012 version of the Olympic VI because a majority of the feedback on them was negative. I wonder how the Olympic VI will come out the next time they rehash them. I'm hoping they come out way better than the 2012 version at least.

I think I'm going to wear these with these Team USA Magic Johnson jerseys. I think they would be a viable substitute for the Olympic VI. And it's not like Nike is going to rehash the Converse shoes that Magic wore in the 1992 Olympics.
