I believe that the red bands were given to people that attended the v.i.p. part of the event. The same folk that caused me and everyone still outside to get shafted....smh

I think the Kaws hold more "value" because of the materials. The Fragment is a regular 1 with a slight color change while the Kaws 4 has premium materials used and you can´t find another 4 like it. That´s also subjective though. If you like Frags more - go for it.

my frags leather is pretty soft and nice and not stiff like any of my 2013 1's. Theres one other 1's that has incredibly soft leather and thats Laser 1's

Man idk. I've held about 5 pairs so far over the years. Mostly from vendoring at Sneakercon. Never once did the material feel close to anyone of those. Not to mention they aren't the real OG mold either right?

Frags has the OG mold to it. They probably felt stiff to you because they were DS and just stored inside a box and probably moved around a lot from inside and outside for those events. But once you wear them in, they're actually pretty soft

Ok...however you maybe right. I never authenticated any of the ones I held. Never wore a pair.

tumbled leather has nothing to do with the quality of it, it's mostly aesthetic, and "non-tumbled" will eventually "tumble"
