Don't be. The only reason why I'm asking people to RSVP kingcrux@gmail.com is to see how many heads from NT (members and lurkers) will actually go to the event. The actual invite only serves as a souvenir. In the past, people have been known to show up at an event without prior notice. Although we have nothing against this, we find it very disrespectful. We're doing this for all of you, the least you could do is let us know that you will be there.

This invitation goes out to all who have found themselves in this thread, including banned members, newbies and even lurkers.

^^ It's an AF1 event so I think it's just "appropriate" to wear AF1. I think I would find it disrespectful if people attending the event wearing non-Nike kicks.

Just like going to a pajama or toga party but wearing a something else just to be different.

But that's also me...but again, I really hope people have the decency not to wear non-Nike shoes...

I feel you King but this is an anniversary party for AF1 so its only right that we give tribute to that shoe by wearing it @ the party. Its like if your friend is having a bday party with a theme....wouldn't u want to honor your friends request by going along with the theme. But any other Nike party ive attended b4 i dont really care what shoe i wear just as long as its Nike.

Theres no reason to feel sorry for anyone for not having af1 especially if they're not sneakerheads or nikeheads. But if they are i think the AF1 deserves that respect especially on its anniversary....thats just me. But like i said im not really the type to wear a certain shoe just cuz its a party for it....but this is the AF1 ANNIVERSARY and i do respect the whole aspect of this shoe. The only ppl you should feel sorry for are people that fronts and tries to fit in somewhere where they dont belong.

Maybe here in the PEE EYE unfortunately. In LA the shoe scene is so big that these kinds of events are usually dominated by shoeheads and Nike corporates. Im not too exposed with the whole shoe scene here yet so i dont know what to expect.

Word cdubb! When it comes down to it....to each is own and just rock whatever u feel like just as long as u rock Nike @ a nike party.

My bad for bringin up cities and getting deep with it...im barely absorbing the scene here.

LOL @ that article. Thats exactly what im talkin about. Unfortunately i've met some of these cats and they're cool but are definetely noobies to the game. I guess it has to start somewhere...too bad its a bad start! hahahaha!

Went to check out the party and it wasnt bad. I came there with no expectations (thanks to King for the heads up) and left with a good impression....that the sneaker culture here in the PEE EYE is difinetly on the rise. So hopefully its just gets better everytime. I took some pics of the party just to give you guys a lil taste until the official press kit party pics gets put on. So here it is....

Overall its was a good event. Bless up King for being part of this event. I also heard that the after party of this presentation party will be held @ the old Manila DJ Club next thursday.
