I can probably take care of my wife financially in totality but I rather not. Even if she works part time she is bringing in something no matter how small it isn't. I also do a lot of housework so she can't use that excuse for not being employed.

Looking from it as if I was a multi-millionaire, the fair share for some chick making $60,000 is pretty much nothing, so in that case I would handle all SHARED bills. I'm not gonna just take over her life and pay for everything like she's a child but her fair share would be so low there's no point in her contributing.
She gotta at least offer at first though when the finances discussion happens. If she on some "You gonna take care of me right?" and start talking about combining finances, she on her own. That's how you end up giving her half and child support only to see her chilling in Turks & Caicos with the money that should be going towards similac.

Thing is, especially in the black community and the game's case, this is the super exception but people approach it from this level like the norm. Of course if I make the millions I ain't worried bout nothin, but the median black household income is around 17k vs 170k for white, that is a bat**** insane disparity in the same country. You on the wrong side of that math trying to handle everything, hampering your own best path to wealth together because someone already rich said so.
