exactly how i felt. that sole is looking really strange to me too for some reason. almost like the pics we've seen so far are grade school or something

Loving these two pics. Count me in on buying a pair in this colorway. I personally love shoes with straps or zippers on the front of the shoe.

overall the shoe does look very nice, the only thing confusing is the black circled upper, looks a bit like an old DRose shoe, who had something similar!

I like the swoosh on the midsole. Instead of them forcing it on the side or on the toe area, like Nike likes to do.
It reminds me of a KD.
I'm not the biggest fan of straps on kicks. Normally instead of lockdown, I find them uncomfortable.

The Kyrie 2 is looking really strong! I can really see a lot of potential for nice colorways on these.

so far this is true. we'll see how the 2's grow though. But its hard to say a successor is better at the very begining.

I'll reserve my judgement on which Kyrie I feel is better once I'm holding a pair of 2's in my hand and more colorways surface and that's if I even feel that one is better than the other. So far I'm impressed with the Kyrie line as a whole 1 & 2's.
