Order on Amazon - free thirty day returnsMe too. Saw Nightwing's list linked off that video and he had I think the way of wade 12s as one of his top shoes. Or maybe that was FDZ too. Either way,Patchenhz schooled me late last year on Li Ning and those Way of Wade models. I was reluctant to consider them but now I really want to see what the fuss is about. I wish they'd get to some retailer in the states where I could try them on.

Relative to the Kai 1 and 2, I'm currently lukewarm on the 3's based on the CNY pair, but this is hopefully similar to my experience with those cycles. The later mesh designs feel better to me than the debut pairs, having less dead space and more bite with the traction. Removal of premium materials goes in favor of simplicity.
Generally my favorite line because I do like how it carries some of my favorite aspects of the past Nike Kyrie line, but it has also been consistent. Seems like Anta decided to run with the merit of not necessarily trying to be exceptional, but instead trying to be sensible and stay clear of bad design choices for this line*. In a way there's nothing to rave about with any of these models, but the fact there's nothing major to complain about ends up putting it in very a very bright light for me. It just dumbs down to simply being proper equipment to handle basketball play.
*I say for this line, and not the entire brand, because imo the Shockwave 6 Pro was a huge letdown after the Shockwave 5 Pro. It was just straight up awful to wear and it didn't make any sense as to why they did such a radical redesign to the base of the last. Every brand has their lowlights.

I agree with a lot of what was said. I’ve got a few pairs of the Kai 3s, and the CNY is easily my least-worn pair. The traction on my other colorways has been more consistent, and the uppers feel a little more supportive. None of them are bad… it just feels like some colorways came out better than others.
That’s why I keep coming back to the Kai line. It doesn’t have one standout feature where I’d say, “This is the best on the market,” but it doesn’t really have any weak spots either. It’s just a solid, dependable hoop shoe that does everything well enough that you never have to think about your shoes while hooping… just lace em up and you’re good to go.

Thought it was a 1 off,Mastery's have a different fit than the CNY's , haven't had any inconsistensies with traction though. Grabbed the Calcites and the 3x blacks for the "best price Best Price" and the uppers feel completely different than the first few pairs.
Klay 11s. grabbed those with the birthday coupon and I'd say they feel like a Kobe X with beefed up cushion. Lebron 20 ish cushion no zoom bags. Haveny had any slip outs or slides, but it squishes like you just stepped out of water instead of squeaking and idk if I can get used to it.

The 2's throat with internal eyelets will be interesting. I'm not big on the strap but I get that's the very thing to take from the 1.
I would've liked the 2's outsole but I ain't mad at that. Overall I can't really say I'm anticipating anything in the way of improvement over the previous models, but I'd love to find out I'm wrong.
When it came to the Nike Kyrie S2's, I remember wishing they didn't include the 5.
6 upper minus the strap with a 4 bottom + Zoom Turbo would've been like the best shoe ever at the time for me.

Those look good. As someone who stopped playing basketball before the popularity of low top hoop shoes, I wonder if I would be confident in playing in any of them. My right ankle is mostly recovered from almost breaking it 8 years when I got blackout drunk at a bachelors party.

You probably would be. NBA players regardless of size now are wearing lows. It's crazy to see but the research is there. I like playing in lows but mids will always have my heart cause I grew up playing in Air Flight 89s.
I don't think we know the absolute truth to Anta PE's yet, but Kyrie played in a retail pair someone painted and handed to him right before a game (unless that was a scripted/planned ordeal).
Before someone cut apart a Nike Kyrie 3 PE and compared it to a retail pair. There were noticeable differences in rigidity elements. Wish I had a PE to mess with myself, but I was pretty aware of how much the Kyrie 3 would flex. The Anta Kai line has been noticeably stiffer. I imagine some Li Ning models are strong in this department too.
