**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Max Christie said the team doesn’t practice, on Odom’s podcast

I wonder if he’s in the doghouse because of that

Is he really that much worse than zero points Gabe and zero points Spencer?
A lot of teams don't practice because of the schedule.

Would love for Max to get 5-10 minutes, but I doubt it's happening.

Is this all a Ham problem?
Cmon bro, we all BEEEN KNOWN WHO THE GOTDAMN MAIN CULPRIT IS.

don't let the amateurs fool you into thinking it's something else

It doesn't get any clearer than what AD said last night regarding the team not having a clue what to do both offensesively and defensively, plus THIS....

I was told Max was ready to be a main rotation piece last summer 🤷🏽‍♂️

What happened?
Darvin freaking Ham, that's what happened

I swear, if I ever run into that man in the streets of Los Angeles County, guaranteed someone gonna need to call 5-0 or at minimum the flashlight cops 😂

Would Vando or wood make a difference thursday? I'm waiting on Ham to say we need reddish
Vando or Wood makes no difference, trust.

Because Ham wouldn't know how to utilize them against DEN. Clear as night and day

But some hopeful fans will keep saying, "Save us Vando" 😂

so after getting swept by Denver, we got Gabe to basically help guard Murray......injured all year still out of rhythm
We signed Dinwiddie to guard Murray

What we didn't do is go after a big body to throw at Jokic for 10 minutes. Instead, two string bean centers (Wood/Hayes) who either would rather play on the perimeter or are not position defenders, but more so active/high energy bigs.....and foul prone

not really sure what Rob is thinking, we need big beefy girthy flabby big body men no diddy

The Lakers are literally going blow for blow with an all time great player in his prime and a perfect team built around him as well.

Sure wish they would have won last night, but there is no shame in the loss.
You the “moral victory” type eh

i beg to differ: there is PLENTY of shame in this loss. The Lakers organization and coaching staff should be embarrassed if they had any TRUE Laker pride like Magic who was too ashamed to even put out a tweet last night according to him.

Think about that for a sec. Ain’t no bigger Laker than Magic. You don’t think Kobe would be pissed off and ashamed about Ham if he were still alive?

Yes AD said it last night
“We don’t know what we’re doing “
I watched the entire presser as well as the game last night… of course I’m not on this blame the coach for everything narrative like some people, so I don’t automatically assume every little thing that someone says is being directed at Ham.

For example… I’ve been on the court with guys who do something stupid af, and my reaction is just like AD - “man what is this fool doing?” … Last night, I felt the same way when DLo threw a cross court pass from half court, when Prince took a couple of step back threes (I know he did hit one), when Spencer drove into the lane and shot an airball floater, just to name a few things.

You don’t really see Denver doing low iq plays like that… and those are the type of plays that really can kill the momentum because they can easily be avoided.

That’s cause DEN has Malone, a high IQ coach who actually makes adjustments and coaches his guys, while the Lakers have Ham who is clueless.

Beleedat big dog

But yeah keep denying and being stubborn just like Ham LMAO

Let’s put things in perspective shall we? What did Jerry buss do after Del Harris lost two years in a row to the Utah Jazz in 1997 and 1998? At least Harris won one game in two series against the Jazz lol. Let that marinate for a second.

Y’all think Jeanie would do the same thing to Ham as her father did to Del after Del proved he wasn’t the coach to lead Shaq and Kobe to a title?

**** hurt can’t even front
I feel ya. But tbqh it doesn’t hurt when we already know Ham is not competent enough to maximize the talent he has on his roster.

There should’ve been zero expectation that this team could actually win a title based on the coaching staff, roster construction, and how this coach utilizes his players.

We already knew these things months ago therefore why are we acting surprised or even hurt? Yes it hurts a little but Im not shocked one bit that we are witnessing what we all should have expected since February.

0-10. Embarrassing.

It bears repeating the stupidity: “if it’s broken, don’t fix it.” This is Darvin’s motto.

Nobody can tell me what kind of so-called adjustments Ham made in game two like he said he was going to make. The coach is a damn liar. He got NOTHIN up his sleeve.

What did Zendaya say in Spider-Man No Way Home:

"Expect disappointment and you'll never get disappointed"

All the cliches apply with this team in this particular matchup, the inevitable collapse, definition of insanity, it's literally the exact same thing everytime.

If I could ask ol nipple head one thing it's why he continuously allows the same junk offense to take place when there has been something that has worked. And why for the love of everything can he not seemingly ever make a counter in game adjustment. Malone switched the matchups when AD was cooking Joker by putting AG on him, counter the **** by running actions to get the favorable matchup that YOU want. No he just runs Bron ball exclusively and for long stretches and stands there with that stupid look on his face.

In Hams defense, Refs can't SEE you challenge or call a timeout with your hands in your pockets. Ham might've been doing much more moves, just couldn't see them.

Ham is rolling his challenges over until next game, now we have double the challenges. He's compounding the challenges for the future.

"Compound challenges are the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it. He who doesn't, pays it" -Ham
