I don't make the rules....
I just follow them.
I’m not sure if he has been posted in here yet. But I feel like he is all of us:
Wow look at Miami
#8 beating #1 on the road
No Jimmy Butler
And we’ve lost 10 straight to Denver
Are we sure coaching and game planning and tactics and adjustments don’t matter?
It’s so obvious it’s sad. The players match the coach in my eyes. The common theme here is we have over-achieving average role players in the reg season and turn into low IQ bum players when it matters most. Kinda makes you wonder why some of these bums never found a permanent home over the years
Nobody is saying they don't matter...
Like CP said the heat went crazy from 3...
Is that an adjustment, game plan or tactics?
Or did shots just fall?
Spoelstra is 10-3 when his team trails 0-1 in a series
Is that adjustments or did players just make shots every game 2?

Putting players in position to succeed is part of coaching. There were clear tactical things the Heat did on both ends after game one on both ends. Of course hitting 3s is important to them and the main reason they won.
They also made a concerted effort to pay though Bam which wasn't the case in game 1. And less zone on defense. That's an 'adjustment'.

Yeeees??? I’m not doing anything else in the moment. I’ll play this intelligent game with you.Uhhhhh, guys?
All these missed bunnies are being put on coaching.......
#Context
And when they get eliminated next week......?
Very true. Both things can be true.Last thing I'm gonna say on this is both things can be true.
Our coaching 100% could be better.
But some of our players need to play much better as well.
Rui, AR, Anyone from the bench besides TP need to play better tomorrow.

Go ahead….
A coaches job is to put their players in the most advantageous position to be successful. Period. There are many different ways/strengths to do this.
It would take a blind man to not see they aren’t trained. Period. They left 15 points on the board off pure execution & not knowing how to read pick & rolls. PICK AND ROLL!!!
He'll still be the best coach in the league, what are you insinuating?
The entire NBA is currently based on those pick and rolls. It's not a magical offense that no one has ever seen before or anything. But when Jokic is in the middle of it, or Luka, or Lebron......it's kinda of difficult to defend, especially when they hitting some ridiculous shots/passes out of it, right?
You believe NBA players need help learning what to do against pick and rolls? Just based on some quick napkin math......they face roughly 10,000 pick and rolls a season.......I feel like pretty much every NBA player at least 2 years in knows what they need to do on such plays.
And I don't know how you can blame a coach for NBA guys missing layups. Sometimes the ball just doesn't go in. It's a make or miss league. Always has been.
