Kobe Bryant takes off for France before Lakers season ends

SAN ANTONIO -- While the Lakers prepared for their last game of the season, Kobe Bryant was already beginning his off-season.
Bryant went to France with family members either Tuesday or Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times has learned. The Lakers conclude their season Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs.
A team spokesman said he was unaware of the situation and referred a reporter to Bryant's agent, Rob Pelinka, who did not immediately return a phone call.
Bryant has been in a surly mood since the team's fortunes started sagging, muttering under his breath at last month's team photo that he doesn't like associating with a team so many games under .500.
The Lakers (26-55) have never lost this many games and have been out of playoff contention for a month.

If we stay at 6, draft Gordon and hire Craig Hodges/Chuck Person to teach him how to shoot.

I'd rather have Smart than Gordon.

Draft them all..

Mitch needs to walk into the draft lottery with his AK and start stealing picks

I actually hope like Pick 7 comes up.. "And with pick # 7 we have the Los...." Mitch gives him the death stare, and Silver puts the ball back in, and takes another one.

Now the Jazz win meant nothing.

Jazz are winning tonight though...it WOULD have meant something if these idiots knew what to do, but alas this abomination of a season is over. Onto the ping pong balls, Silver time for you to earn your keep.

5, 88 lottery balls .088 1st, .097-2nd, .107-3rd, .261-5th, .360-6th, .084-7th, .004-8th
6, 63 lottery balls .063 1st, .071-2nd, .081-3rd, .439-6th, .305-7th, .040-8th, .001-9th

Would easily exchange 2-3 more losses for 25 more lottery balls.

Would have been a coin flip because it would not have been an integer when added and divided.

But alas, what's done is done.

No use crying over spilled Dew.

I hate Mountain Dew, by the way.

But at least it isn't Dr. Pepper
