Personally, I hate capitalism.  But since that's America, I got no beef with Walmart.

maybe thats because its basically a bottom-line driven monopoly....

their size allows them to cut competition out.......

seeing how capitalism is based on fair competition, how is that a contradiction?

i dont understand how some people are saying they cut out mom & pop stores blah blah blah, but yet a lot of people here shop on ebay/amazon/buy.com for many electronics, tv's, ipods, computers etc.
Isn't that the same thing? We're buying everything online through ebay/amazon, cutting out the middleman (department stores) and saving money

eBay or Amazon can be seen is that, but not in the same light. When shopping for items on eBay, a lot of people are buying used items.

i only remember a couple times out of the 50+ times ive used ebay that ive boughten a used item.
for example, ive got a couple pairs of brand new sunglasses for $80 a pop, that cost $130 at nordstrom
thats $50 extra, for something only costing $150.
