NBA subtracts rebound from LeBron's triple-double
NEW YORK -- The NBA announced today that a statistical error was made during the Cleveland Cavaliers-New York Knicks game on Feb. 4 at Madison Square Garden.

Cavaliers forward LeBron James was incorrectly credited with a rebound with 39.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter that should have been awarded to Cleveland forward Ben Wallace. Due to the correction, James finished Wednesday's game with nine rebounds -- one rebound short of a triple-double -- while Wallace ended with two rebounds.

Lebron still had a better overall performance.

People will remember Kobe as having the most points at the Garden.

But Lebron will be remembered next to Jordan to be the only two to score multiple 50 points game there.

*double post*

the funny thing is, i think a NTer pointed this out before this was announced...and it was true. 9 rebounds is 9 rebounds.

They shoulda just left it. No harm in him getting the rebound, it doesn't hurt anybody.

Still a great game, XtraLebron, sorry this thread was started by a Laker signature. We still fully support Bron's performance at the Garden.

Is one less rebound really gonna make it less impressive of a game performance? Really? If he instead had one less assist would that somehow be more impressivethan having instead one less rebound?
