It's called loyal fans.
They jealous of the loyalty.

The fact that you can try and sum up the Knicks season that way is clear evidence you haven't followed the team this season.

Melo had a good game on the low. I think we lost this in the second half more than Miami won. But an L is an L.

So we're in the off season. Let everyone go but Novak and Lin.

Sign and trade Amare + Fields + Pick + Cash + Douglas for D. Howard ? : ) oh and add JR Smith in there

Why yall wanna trade for yet another big name? Yall know they gonna try and rape us too and Dolan will be the only one willingly bending over. Please believe we'll be giving up Tyson, Lin, Shump, and Harrellson if we trade for Dwight. Plus JR would need to opt in for us to trade him.

For the JR topic, I wanted him here and was happy with the good and bad he gave us this season but he really %%%@ the bed in the playoffs and because of that I'm not gonna be mad if he opts out for more money. Although I doubt he gets it, probably a multi-year deal though.

Guys like JR and Novak will be gone. JR is heavily underpaid and Novak will never get another opportunity to get a big payday like he'll get this Summer. The good news in all this is that you can always replace guys like Novak and JR. Guys like Carmelo and Chandler you can't easily replace. So, that's the light at the end of the tunnel for us.

At this point Novak could go where he wants. Dude is nothing more than a stand around shooter. Can't create can't come off screens whatever goodbye. I do want to see Earl stay and pick up his option. Although he was off this entire series and is borderline ******ed sometimes, he's the kind of guy you want coming off your bench. This off season is gonna be rough, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this team took a step backwards. Another tough season another stab wound another let down. Sigh.

knicks fans that want JR gone dont understand the situation we are in. because of dolan and melo. you just dint get it.

i forgot who said this but either amare has to start beasting again or jeremy lin has to be real legit/second tier type pg for the knicks to be contenders, since knicks dont have much money to play with. dont know which of those possibilities is more so to happen.

amare had a lot of issues to deal with hopefully he bounces back
melo did his thing, seem like he was the only one that showed any fight in this series
tyson had to be playing injured. he wasnt his normal self on defense.
heat put the clamps on novak, but i doubt that knocks his value on the market. teams will make him an offer.
jr had the green light this series and kinda disappointed. dont even know what was up with him. he had a chance to show other teams his worth, i doubt any other team is gonna offer him a great deal. it was the same ol jr.

early predictions, knicks will be 3/4 seed

personally, i get it but the $%!+* needs to stay off of twitter and stop worrying about what +#+@%+ on twitter have to say about him.
son is a grown #@# man in the league and needs to play with his heart every damn night on that court.

leave twitter alone.

If there's one thing the Knicks are good at it's filling up holes and needs. For the longest time we've had serviceable guys that fit the roles we needed, but never that superstar.

We've got 2 and half superstars on this team now and with free agency coming along there is no doubt in my mind Grunwald will be able to fill up the roster nicely.

My main concern is with Woodson. Because for as great of a defensive coach he is, he's just as bad of an offensive coach. This series has proved once again that his offense continues to have no flow and lacks an identity. He also seems to make horrible adjustments on the fly or none at all. These were the same accusations he was facing when he was in Atlanta. And at this point in his career, he is what he is as a coach. He will hold most players accountable and make them play tough defense. But if you expect a flowing offense that adapts to whats being thrown at them then you'd might as well watch water boil. I've said this when Woodson got hired as an assistant and also when he was tagged as interim head coach--"He's a great assistant coach, not so great head coach."

Although, you have to give the man a chance. He turned us around at the right time and showed that he can get the players to listen to him. I say we give him a 1 year deal and see what he can do with his seat a little warm. This is all contingent upon whether or not Phil Jackson wants to come and coach us though (doubt it).

thats a very interesting argument that can be debated multiple ways

i personally dont like twitter. i think it can get u in serious trouble. between any slick comment u have involving race, gener, religion, political stance, etc.

but if i was an athlete i would love twitter. 70 percent of the media are parasites. we all love flatbush but he is rare. i would speak for political issues i stand for and use it to meet fans and absolutley decimate the media. 140 characters sucks but all u need to do is post a link and they cant twist youre words as much

more like one and a half if im being generous

sry but it is what it is

your main concern should be far and way from woodson

Melo= Superstar

Chandler= Defensive Superstar

Amare= Half-Superstar

Now that I think about it...we have 1 and half superstars

I promise you if we manage to get a good solid PG we will STILL be here talking about how Woodson's coaching cost us a playoff series or even championship. IDK about you guys, but anything less than a championship is unacceptable for me. You play to win and you can only win if you get rings. Plain and simple.

Just making it to the second round or winning a playoff game isn't enough or an accomplishment. You need to raise to the bar higher if you want to achieve greatness. That's what separates the good players from the great players. The good organizations from the great organizations.

Players in bold are the ones I'd like us to go for. Quite frankly if we could get Goran Dragic I'd be fine with Lin leaving or making him the backup. Dragic is ready and needs to be a starting pg in the league. All the SGs in bold are better than Fields, the SFs too. Considered a few PFs that can actually make up for Amar'e's lack of rebounding consistency. Then I added some gritty guys I feel we need more of that do the dirty work and are willing to give those hard questionably dirty fouls.

I'm obviously ignoring our cap situation but last offseason I never expected Tyson to be a Knick.

I'm not sure about Woodson's offensive philosophy either. Not sure what he cooks up will lead us to a championship but we shall see. Not jumping ship on him cuz if he was coaching this team the whole season we would be much better.

Was a fun year at least...

Lin is obviously coming back, and hopefully he can be a legit starter. He's not going to give us 24 and 9 or w/e he was doing during the 'Linsanity' stretch, but if he can be even a Goran Dragic Lite (who will also be a FA, but we probably can't afford him and management never give up the financial opportunity to have Lin on our team) who plays some decent defense, that should be good enough. Shumpert is and should be the starting 2, just have to hope he can stay healthy and doesn't lose anything from the injury. I don't imagine any teams throwing any money at Novak this summer. I think the last 5 games showed he's a 1 trick pony, and a terrible rebounder. I can see him taking the minimum as long as we give him a few years (this is a guy who is barely in the NBA). Hopefully Jared and Bibby come back for the minimum too.

As for JR and Fields...who knows. I think JR's gone because we can't afford him anyway. I would say this though, JR gave 100% every time he was out there and played to win. It's the coaches fault for not taking him out when he goes on 3-15 stretches. No reason he got the ball that much and amare got it that little, even with amare's foul trouble, but I can't fault him for always going all out and trying to win the game. Fields...good guy, but ok player. What the @+*% happened to his jump shot this year? It made him pretty useless when Melo came back, so not sure if he's worth giving our full 2.5 bi-annual exception. If there's a SG or combo guard who can score and bring the ball up, I'd be happy with that, but an athletic sg/sf behind Melo is probably also needed.

Anybody see Gerald Green and the way he ended the year with the Nets? I think he'd be a good 6th man to play the 2/3 spot on this team and could be cheap. I see JR getting too much money elsewhere, but I'd probably take Green over Fields at this pt. Fields showed over 2 years that he's just not a good fit for the team. Good defender and rebounder, but cannot score or handle the ball.

Same. I tried tweeting him so he can make an initiative to study D-Wade's moves and tapes. He has the same build and size as a rookie D-Wade, just needed more an offensive arsenal.
Shump tearing his ACL was the biggest loss, bigger than losing this series.

good for amare. i cant stand most of these players attitude towards the enemy.

keep that co worker @%@% away. ive been a salesman. "friends" go so far

This...but i don't sleep on that kid at all. Out of all the Knicks guards, he seems like he has "it" and wants to win the most. He already added a 3 ball to his arsenal. He can and will adjust to a second year in the NBA.
Woodson needs to adjust his game. Charles and em just spoke on it...here's where PG plays comes into the picture getting other guys involved. I'd also like to see some zone sporadically and less switching.

And i totally forgot Dragic was a FA this year...love his game...but he's gonna get a huge paycheck we can't afford.

Priorities this off season are to find a LEGIT pg. Lin is good, but his court vision & decision making could be better. He'd learn a lot from a guy like Nash. Additionally, if Woodson isn't going to play Jorts in any real substantial game time, and Crawford in any time whatsoever, we need to find some bruisers to clog the middle. I don't know who that would be.

Ideally, I'd like to see Nash & Ray Allen in Knicks uniforms next year. Ray, they tried to trade you two years in a row, why would you go back? And my favorite Knick from the dark ages, Jamal Crawford, he'd do well with this team, very well.

Jamal Crawford = JR Smith. I do think he'd fill a need off the bench, though. I can't see him taking a small contract two years in a row, but then again this past year didn't really up his value do we'll see.
