LET'S TALK SUITS AND TIES

NT fashionistas would turn their nose up at you, but overstock.com sells Calvin Klein, Sean John, Kenneth Cole, Nautica, etc. suits for the low, use ebates, buy a 10% off coupon off ebay for $1, come out to under a bill and get some stuff for your apartment too. BTW, I wear a 40/32, sometimes 42, but it's hard to find 32 lengths so I end up getting 34s in a lot of brands.

I already bought them, they fit great. And they gave me ample pant length 46 to tailor to my size. I'm happy overall with the suits. I just need some accessories=shirts, shoes, ties, belt

In a pinch, hit up Banana Republic Factory or outlet store. You can usually find suits for 160-220, and the best part is you can mix and match the sizes of the pants and jackets. No need for alterations, get the jacket and pants that fit, already hemmed and ready to go. That saves about 40-60 dollars alone. Instant suit. Also, their modern fit pants and suit jackets fit very nicely.

Work fit of mine... Suit is Bresciani (italian) out of my local guys shop... He runs the gift shop in our hotel so he gives us crazy deals... This suit tags for $950 in his store but I paid $325 with the alterations. Fits great and is still in perfect condition (unlike my Brooks Brothers herringbone that has fabric pulls all over from dry cleaning....)

Pants are EXACTLY my problem....I'm a 36-38 waist and 34-36 length, that ish doesn't exist apparently :{
Who the hell are these people who rock 40 32s when I shop for jeans? Im bout to head out to Marshalls and JCrew out of desperation.

I tried to express my frustration with this in the denim thread, and apparently, nobody knew what the hell I was talking about.

I'm a 36x36, but pants fit different, and often I dont have enough length, so I have a hard time. And shirts fit weird as hell. :lol

People dont understand how crazy it is to fit tall sizes :lol

When I got out of school and start working and going to conferences the only suit brand that fit me perfect was Hugo Boss. I'm 6'0 180, and I have about 12-13'' drop between chest and waist depending on the time of the year, so it's hard getting a suit cut like that.

When I was in school, the only thing I was able to get was suit separates at Express. For people with odd sizes, that would probably be the best best is to buy the separates.
