That's the basic premise of another 2011 film, Another Earth. It doesn't really dive into it too much, but your post looked like the tagline.
Back to your original question, no.

Okay, so do you believe in faith? If i never come across certain opportunities was my life supposed to be average to begin with?

There's nothing more I want in life than to play college basketball. I've played ball literally my whole life. Some dude adds me on Facebook who lives in Oregon with the SAME exact name as me. My last name isnt that common either, so I was kinda blown away to see someone with the same last name let alone first. I go through his profile and he doesnt look like a ball player what so ever. More and more of his stuff comes up on my news feed and dude is traveling the country playing in tournaments getting college offers and everything.

Im sittin here like thats supposed to be me.

yeah, thats exactly what i mean. sometime the similarities in life are so tied in it feels like im being watched by someone who's just taunting me and the life that i have now. im tryna stay outta trouble. i wanted to do music and did music for years and it seemed like i was going down that road till i crashed on this road to life and woke up and everything in my life was gone! now i see people that look just like my brother acting just like him in music videos and every now and then i gotta write him to make sure thats not him. he keeps telling me no. hes not Lil B

This is how I think about it, every choice that leads to action from every being in existence in the Universe affects the Universe as a whole because one is part of the whole and therefore affects the entire thing.

Therefore every time someone does something no matter if they live on the other side of the world or the other side of the Universe we both share this world and Universe so there is gonna be some type of cause and effect even if it doesn't effect one directly.

Every time someone makes a choice in the path of life there is a fork, just as easily as one made the decision they did, they could have made another.

Furthermore there could be an infinite amount of outcomes only difference in all these outcomes is the actual action taking place.
Just like someone already posted, Multiverse.

I believe that there are infinite versions of ourselves that can make infinite decisions that could take us on an infinite amount of paths of life in which each individual fulfills whatever their desires are.

Although you might not get what you want in your universe or lifetime, an alternate version of yourself could have achieved what you dreamed in theirs.

Also you wouldn't be the same exact person because even if you have the same exact genetic make up that only makes you half of what you are, the other half that makes you what you are is experience in life.

It is a culmination of the decisions and actions you make and the decisions and actions of the beings in your surroundings.
So that little difference can create a Butterfly Effect. "Something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world"

I would also recommend the movie "A Sound of Thunder" OP. Completely different movie than Source Code but deals with cause and effect and alternate realities

This is mad confusing and it doesn't help that it's in a block of text.

really didnt read but
soon as a i saw the movie i was like
"don't put me in no source code"

Nah I don't think so.

Even if there's someone who's a carbon copy of me, if they do things differently than I would, then we aren't the same person. I feel like a person is the culmination of their actions, thoughts and consciousness. If my alternate reality version has different thought processes, actions or morals than me, than he would be a different person.

Besides, I doubt there's some other teenage kid cruising around in a Lamborghini, ripped as hell, smashing supermodels while street racing other supercars at the same time. If there was, I'd kill myself from excessive amounts of jelly.

I understand the block of text being confusing, but now that I've spaced it out read it again it should make sense. If not I could just post a video of Michio Kaku

I agree with your first two sentences, not so much with the rest of it (until we have more concrete "proof" of such things--string theory and all that good stuff).

I think it's possible and I always like to imagine the possibilities of my life from slightly different to drastically different in alternate realities.

The whole infinite universes bases on mine or anyone else make a different choice for every single choice they have made is wild to me. Not that it's not possible but just that it's hard to fathom even glimpsing at that in it's entirety.

But to what you're specifically talking about someone else out there in this world just like me living a better life. %*$# him. I'm sure he'd say the same.

Wait why? Just to feel good about another you somewhere is living the good life while yours still sucks? Given how bad a person has it that would just suck even more.

Through The Wormhole is a great series of programs, highly recommended.
