Now that I look at it a different way Smokey/MIB/Flocke probably really does see Jacob as the devil.

I got a plot hole. When Jacob and MIB were sitting on the beach talking, we saw a ship that we all thought was the Black Rock coming. But this was a calm clear balmy day. I'm assuming that ship was not the black rock. Just another ship.

This was a great episode tho.
For a minute there, after they showed FLocke and then MIB I thought he was on island during that time. The flashbacks were extra smooth this ep, no swoosh sound or anything.
