well i have a gripe about this machine chalk board thingy mrs hawking has. The pendulum is fixed to the roof, and the map on the floor is fixed also...so thechalk at the bottom of the pendulum will hit the same spot over and over again, and the other chalk marks are absolutely impossible

Hmmm...So Desmond makes the same remarks about Hawking to Jack like what Sayid told Hurley, and then there was a reference to this being all a game andeveryone is used as pieces.
