i have a western digital for my mac. pretty satisfied with it
Mac External Hard drive Recommendations?

My only qualm they have this built in software that pops up every time you plug it in, and the hard drive I have runs on an adapter. If you keep it plugged in all the time that shouldn't be a problem, but it does get annoying. That startup software also takes up the .5 of the 1.5 TB that you have, and there is no way to delete it off the hard drive so you never can use that .5.

@Patrik1tha1, the G-drive looks nice but it's a bit too pricey.
