nah b i watched the games. we can just agree to disagree but i think his defense is vastly overrated, especially when he guards and get lit up by quicker point guards which is every single time he's matched up against one. i mean he shows effort and heart but i'm sure every point guard didn't mind being guarded by fisher

Depends on how you define the word MAJOR.
He was a leader.
He was a motivator.
He was a constant.
He was a coach on the floor.
That is major in my book. Sure, his numbers don't reflect it but it is deeper than numbers.
And there is no way we can ignore the number of Big Shots (Him and Horry).
So if someone wants to call him a MAJOR contributor, I wouldn't argue at all
