Past generations fought for our freedom from Britain so how are we fighting for freedom if we already have it?
"Most soldiers don't want to kill anyone", OH the irony. Wow how stupid, why in the hell would they join in the first place? Besides it doesn't matter if a soldier thinks this or that. Being a soldier means giving up your freedom of choice. Soldiers pull triggers regardless of if they think it's right, it's what they were ordered to do so they do it. Why would I want to do that? It's like joining a gang.

^ exactly soilders do what there told, i cant tell you how many guys i talked to comin back from iraq bragging about how they killed 50+ 100+ iraqies/middle eastern men(sp)this one guy said half of the guys he killed were questionable terriost, questionable? is that america? your all being feed lies, i understand its hard to see something when your blind but damn dont you have suspicions? and besides who to say america even exist anymore, america is just a name now like a sign outside a theme park

every year 50%+ of your tax dollars goes to military defense, 515 billion in 2006, more spending than the following countries military defense combined: netherlands, indonesia, canada, italy, brazil, south korea, saudia arabia, germany, japan, france, britan, russia, china, austrilia, do you think if we'd stop paying taxes the us war machine would crumple and die? no we intimadate the world, why do you think us has been on top this whole time

Have you ever read the Treaty of Paris?

Secession and nullification of the Constitution is American. The Independent States voluntarily joined the Union and they can nullify the law and leave. If you cannot leave, then how is the freedom?

So let the South secede I don't care.. Wage war on the North.. See how it works out for you... Try too build your economies, etc. It will just affirm to everyone how much they need the federal government when things get too hard to do on their own.

And yeah the South seceded for the Civil War too because they loved America so much.

Everyone wants to go back to the 1950's - 1970's so god damn bad when there was an actual draft.. There were huge government projects.. Government funded health care.. And the highest tax bracket was at 70%.... They cry socialism & communism now.. They sure as hell would have cried it then when they think of our golden years....

1. You do not have to wage war to secede. The North provoked the war, not the South.
2. The South seceded because they loved freedom and they loved the country, but they didn't want to be governed by a dictator like King Lincoln, who he himself advocated the Fugitive Slave Act while being President. To say they "didn't love America" because they seceded is idiotic considering the Declaration of Independence was a secession from the tyrannical Empire in which they belonged to at the time.

I don't know who you talk to, but nobody wants to go back to the 1950's-1970's. Our economy was so good with those tax rates in those decades that we had gas lines, energy crises, massive inflation, out of control spending, deficits and debt. The centralization of the economy and the Welfare State was started a long time before the 1950's, sir.


You lose all credibility if you honestly think you need a central coercive force to conduct a economy. I think other you and other Statists like you are afraid of actual competition and natural market forces because you people can't compete and need a moderator to show favoritism towards the people who can't compete, thus at the same time grabbing more and more power over people to promote what is it you call it "social justice", right?

As far as "loving freedom and their country" I think they loved being lazy, and making money off the backs of slaves far more.
