Quoting myself here since it's confirmed that you are that same dude...Originally Posted by moneymike88

Just so I'm sure who you are...Were you the one making posts about how your ex was trying to get you to sign over your parental rights and was also threatening to move to a different state?
No she hasn't. You're only telling yourself this to rationalize your dumb *%+ decisionOriginally Posted by CampbellSoup

Leopards rarely change their spots. I don't understand why you would give into that broads wishes after the way she spoke to you and treated you. She tried to stop you from seeing your child and threatened to put a restraining order against you and you think its a good idea to have a romantic relationship with her. You deserve everything that's coming to you.
Another PM sent.
Deserve what's coming to me? How?
You seem to be missing the point here, and I don't think you'll get it because I doubt you have had a situation like this. And Im not referring to having a child outside of wedlock.
My son's mother and I have a lot of history. Despite what I may have posted in the past when I was in the heat of the battle, I still love her. She's done more good things than bad for me outside of this situation. She's essentially my best friend. Yes we have had intense verbal battles, but the rest I can't explain. It may not be healthy I know, but at the end of the day she still is one of my closest friends, as well as the mother of my son.
If you wanna keep this going, PM me.

Go with the new chick and have a shot at true happiness.
Thing is "Michelle" isn't even dying to be with me. I could try and stick it out with her and get myself burned in the long run when she throws me overboard again and then I lose both chicks.
^^^ Glad to see that worked out for you. Stay happy as you're already strong.Originally Posted by Classy Freshman
OP I was in a similar situation.
I stayed in a bad marriage because what made me happy was me being able to spend QUALITY time with my daughter. I just thought to myself, "I have to take the good with the bad," when it came to her mom. But enough became enough and I had to do what's right, so I moved out. I had to be happy for myself too.
My mom gave me some great advice. She said the key to everything is balance. She told me to make sure I took care of business and spent quality time with my daughter, but that I also need to do things that will make me happy for myself. So right now my daughter spends the night at my place 2-3 times a week, and a few other nights I have a friend that is down for me that I occupy myself with. And for the first time in a long time I can really say I am at peace, and I am happy.
Good luck OP.
