Most overrated city ???

Been in Austin 3 years. It's constantly noted the best city in America... I mean I like it but I'm just curious why it wins the award. Maybe I appreciate the reasons and don't even know why.

but the black women there??!!!
how sway!!??
It’s alotta ho’s but it’s a city of stuntin and showing out now, like they say “black Hollywood”...Alotta the baddies think they one break away from Love and Hip hop or a milly IG followers, and the regular joints are in places you won’t ever see as a visitor unless you go out your way and that wouldn’t be the best use of your time visiting ATL :lol

a lot of people don't know what to do in paris..if you are just on some tourist **** you probably had a lame *** trip
i loved paris

san diego was pretty dry to me... food was trash
im not sure its rated high though

i haven't been to many places i didn't like
i think chicago is def underrated. i love that city

weathers great, beaches close, nice properties not too expensive, far enough from the weird parts of florida
and i really like amusement parks

edit: ants built different down there tho. Be careful
I prefer Tampa cuz it’s beaches in every direction and the airport gotta be the most smoothest and efficient in the country..but it’s similar sentiments you got with Orlando and the Magic my fav team :hat

Paris is dope AF if you do it right. Museum’s are next level.

Vegas is amazing. Three days of gambling and partying your *** off and back to reality. I love Vegas.
I think those are the operative words though. That's about you need to get everything you could want out of Vegas. It's the strip, it's gambling, it's partying, and that's it. Spending an entire week there sounds pretty miserable.

i do landscape photography so i flew into vegas just to drive to death valley the next day, i landed around 9am, went to my hotel, checked out the strip. went back to my hotel, drove to death valley spent all day there & it was back to the hotel, i rested for a minute & was gonna go back out to the strip, instead i packed my stuff up & flew back home, that place is overrated garbage.

So, you spent 15 minutes awake in Las Vegas and you're calling it overrated?

If you're into photography, I'm assuming you're outdoorsy.

Why you didn't hit up Red Rock, Mt. Charleston, Valley of Fire or Lake Mead instead of going home?

You know the reason why, the publications that rank it “best in America” is skewed towards a certain young demographic and they poppin in Austin just like Nashville, Boston, Minny , Seattle, Portland, Denver etc

I asked you bout living in Vegas a while back cuz I had some options but you ain’t get back to me wo :smh:
Damn, my bad famb. I probably got caught up with something and it slipped my mind.

If you are ever considering it again, PM me.

It is a good place if you are young, got a good employee opportunity and like to party ans like live music.

It really isn't a place to settle down in and raise a family.

Me no understand. You go for work and not party.

Appreciate it big dawg ...if I’m moving again it’s gon be back home, somewhere by the beach in Florida or west (Vegas, Cali, maybe Denver) ...I was looking into Vegas cuz the cost of living was cheap and having the strip available to me whenever I want sounds good, UNLV was trying get me...But I know the city don’t give a F but anything not on the strip tho

I never understood it either. I been here 8 years, before that visiting every year since ‘91. Only good thing that has changed is diversity and even then Austin is still way behind. And it’s a very segregated city, which is lame considering it’s supposed to be one of the most progressive cities in the south.

My beef with Austin is the homeless situation is out of hand. Californians and tech bros ruining things now too.

A lot of these people come for SXSW or ACL and think it’s the best from their holiday and move here in a whim.

Bali, Indonesia

Touristy
Expensive
Food is nothing to rave about
Nice beaches in Thailand and the Philippines

Brooklyn (Williamsburg and Park Slope in particular). Never witnessed such self-awareness.
