Still trying to understand why yall say Miami is overrated. Are things overpriced and there isn't much to do?

This MILF I used to mess with, her daughter moved there last year and swears it's better than NYC

To be fair anybody that moves out of nyc anywhere else swears it’s better than the city. People moved across the bridge to fort lee NJ and talk about how much better it is and the air is fresher than nyc . As far as Miami I grew up in a 98% Latino hood in nyc so Miami wasn’t a culture shock to me like it is for others. Get the same food and music here and not a fan at all of hot weather.

Tourist cities like Miami / Vegas will be overrated based on the expectations you set before going…If you think it’s automatic baddies on jet skis in south beach or you bout to go clubbin with the big money you made playing blackjack soon as you land in Vegas then it will be a let down if you can’t make that happen

Other cities legit have changed or the bang for your buck isn’t there anymore, but the destination places always stay the same so hard to overrate them

Naw. Seasons up here are fairly moderate across the board

You get a fair share of rain in Fall/Winter but not much after

I had good *** times in Vegas and Miami. You just have to temper your expectations and game-plan. Go out, club, drink, meet women, eat good, see events, etc. I don't need that fake VIP ******** or expect to live beyond my means, I just like to have a good time out at "party" cities like Miami, Vegas, N.O., LA, etc.

Honestly, a lot of us think South Beach = MIami. There are plenty of things to do outside of South Beach/Partying/Getting Drunk etc. (I am also considering Ft. Lauderdale since it is RIGHT there)

Yall gotta learn how to use Trip Advisor man because some of this, "X city is overrated" comes from yall having warped expectations and/or interests.

The summer time here is perfect. I’ve met countless people who said they visited the area in summer, decided they wanted to live here, moved in fall, kinda regretted it then stuck around to see the spring and summer again.

Seattle is becoming one of those cities people hate on (at least regionally) but never actually visit. 2020 did damage on it for sure but it’s gonna recover.

Alcoholics and other addicts do that. They’re the people who think Vegas is the greatest place on earth; they never travel anywhere else even though the amount of money they spend going there annually could be used for amazing international destinations instead

Honestly, even one day on the Vegas strip is enough. I used to enjoy going there when I was younger, but paying $$$$$ for overcrowded clubs gets old, and while the locals are generally cool, the city tends to attract the most irritating people from all over the country (just like Miami). My tolerance for them is at an all time low.

I was just there last weekend and one dude on the trip booked from weds-weds …Yo changed his flight after we went out that Friday night, had already done a lot by that point …And everything ain’t even back to “normal” yet so I can only imagine how much the week days drag if you got no business going in Vegas

Austin is extremely overrated. I’ve always said it’s only a cool place to live if you’re a white liberal. Absolutely no culture there and a small percentage of black people compared to the other major cities in TX.

Miami is cool. I think the Latin/Black women alone would have me favor it over Phuket.

Been to both Miami and Phuket. The women out in Phuket are 100% better in every way imaginable. Food and drinks are super underrated as well. Plus, you can live like a KING for pennies out there.

Also, the women out in Phuket LOVE MoC. Miami is played out bruhs
