Most overrated city ???

All of this talk about Utah makes me want to go to the mountains, but I want to go to Whitefish, Montana though.

You know gates don’t matter in the southeast region, all types of complexes got em from luxury to bottom barrel and most don’t eem work  …But shout out to yo for coming up on that price and space

I lived in a "gated complex" in college. Didn't stop my old roommate from getting robbed at gunpoint right in the crib. Them things are for show.

My dawg is a big 6’2” 220lb Haitian. He ain’t worried. He and his wife graduated from FAU. I’m about to ask him if it’s in a gated community. My college apartment in Atlanta was only $1050 for a 2x1. Gated facility off buford highway.

Update: yeah, $960 in Charlotte. Gated complex.

He got a great price. I was looking at Charlotte after graduating and couldn't find anything around that in a good spot.

I contemplated going to Utah for Summer League. I would only go during the Summer months.

Other than that, I don't know when I would get over there forreal.

Fam we got Cleveland, Utah, then Indianapolis. Hell I want OKC to get one at some point, but get a streak of good cities in a row first. Aint nobody tryna bring coats and earmuffs to all star weekend. 2025 come back with a Miami, ATL, Hou, NYC, LA streak then you can sneak an OKC in there somewhere. Or I'll take Dallas again, had tickets but sold them

Yea they're not at all set up or built for this. Remember when the junior Olympics was in Portland and they had to have people go around prior to teach all the yt people how to interact with college educated, primarily black, student athletes. At the time Portland was %1.8 black.

We got mountains in Oklahoma breh. You can drive up Mt Scott, see/run up on some wild bison, long horns, hike, fish, ride atvs, rent a boat/jetski, shoot a gun, feed a camel out your suv window (IDK just naming outdoorsy ****), whatever and still go to a hiphop club at night.

Prices in New York are way down and still OD to me

Been to Utah SEVERAL times to snowboard. Park City, UT is one of the best resorts in the country. 40 min drive from SLC as well.

Are there many colored folk out there? Hell no, but you don't go to Utah expecting to see colored people. You go out there trying to smash one of them Mormon white women.
Mormons love the brothas too, facts.

I dont get it, even if you do the tourist stuff you will enjoy. . Ive had many friends from all around come to NYC and I do the tourist thing with them and they (and myself) enjoyed quite a bit. I show em around some of the less popular stuff, views of the city, places to hangout, shops etc and its cool.

If I visit somewhere new, im def gonna go tourist mode for the first couple.
If you do the trip advisor stuff you’re bound to have a good time in nyc. Hell you could just walk the streets shop to shop bar to bar restaurant to restaurant and it would take you months to hit them all up. But nyc is a different animal if you know somebody that will get you the good drugs and take you to the spots not really listed online like hidden restaurants and bars, Off Broadway plays, ***** houses/buildings with a mean lineup of exotic Latinas, raves and private dance clubs. There’s a whole underworld in the city it’s just not obvious

Yea moving forward, if you name a city also state what you are in to and what you HAVE done in said city.

Not sure how anyone can say New York is overrated.

People might be on a mission.
THings might be dirty.
THings might be busy.

But there is ZERO shortage of things to do/eat/get into

I could see how one could not be into how crowded NYC is, the subway, or he’ll even the amount of walking required in NYC.

Yea but does THAT make the CITY overrated?

Those things are already known about NYC so wouldn't that make it PROPERLY rated from that aspect?

Bangkok : if i stay more than 2 days in that city i go crazy. The rest of the country is truly amazing though

Toronto : stayed downtown for a weekend during winter. Didn’t enjoy the city at all. I’m sure in the summer and if you go around downtown, it’s much better.

That’s just from my personal experience. I would put Vegas in there too as others have mentioned

:nerd:

I visited Toronto during the winter and I didn't have any problems.

I visited. Hated it.

People are rude, traffic sucks, Timbs and Yankee fitteds everywhere.

And the pizza is 🗑

All jokes aside Times Square was fun and so was sightseeing 😂. I’m just nitpicking.
