Just got back from spending some time in Chi-town.  Just posting up some pics I took and share my experience.

Firstly....why the $+%! did a heat wave have to hit the Chi as soon as I got there?  %@+* was too hott but didn't stop me from enjoying the place.

I actually tried going to the Navy Pier on July 4th only to find out that %@+* only lasted for 15 minutes?!?!?! and it was cancelled cuz them boys were shooting out there.
Stopped off in a restaurant  called Volare and had some drinks and let the crowd pass us.  Pretty nice spot.
I stayed with my peeps in Des Plaines....nice chill spot. They told me that it's a heavy Indian prescence there but I only saw older Indian people and not any hot looking indian girls in their 20's

Chicago is a great city.  Imho it combines parts of NYC(downtown) Atlantic City (Rivers casino, Navy pier), Florida (suburbs).  From what I saw it's a more laid back city.  I actually had a better time with the hood people probably from the southside than with the whites who over populate the downtown area.  A lot of %@@+#++%!+$ in the Chi but working class snow bunnies.

Had some Uno's deep dish out in Shcaumberg(Sp?) just to beat the wait at the Uno's downtown.  Pretty solid pizza....can't be compared to ny pizza.  Chicago deep dish is a meal, NYC thin crust pizza is a quick bite.  Both are good.

Dawg, you didnt have deep dish if it wasnt Giordano's lol. But glad you enjoyed the city (minus the mess at Navy Pier). Interesting to see your take about the different cities that it reminds you of...

These giant pics and not ONE single one of Batman? Good job

Ur the same one that asked for what to do in Chicago?

Looks amazing, would love to visit Chitown one day

Yea I couldn't hit up all the pizza spots...I plan on coming back out to the Chi one day so I still got a list of @%#+ still left to do.

Imo because chicago (downtown) is a more laid back open city than say Manhattan I think it's a great spot to bring kids...so I'm probably gonna bring my nephews their one day especially to millenium park....a really dope spot to chill. My friend works in the prudential building that overlooks millennium so she showed me around...

All in all Chicago is a great city...a home away from home. I wouldn't mind raising some kids over there or buying a house there one day. The houses in the suburbs are really nice as well and what's peculiar to me is that you could have a one story next to a 2 or 3 story house which is weird. And the houses that I saw in the suburbs, architecturally speaking are pretty damn nice. They got some poppin hotels and night life downtown as well as in the burbs. I think I went to this spot Burrito House out in Des Plaines like 4x in 4 days and to some bar called Chasers about 2x.

I'm not willing to go down to southside even though I let this cute black chick take a drag of my backwoods cigar invite me to a house party out there

but nothing can compare to the stoop sitting here in nyc with some homies. That being said Chi has a different metro-city feeling to it. The trains are def different...still don't understand why some trains have bi-fold doors instead of just sliding out doors....mad annoying.

Girls....were cute....I didn't get a chance to see any real dime pieces as compared to nyc....they look and act more down to earth...less stuck up...however I ran into some working class %$*%@@%!##% one night and they were stuck up as hell....made me feel right at home

Saw some nice mixed girls, latinas (mexican, colombian), white, a few black hotties, and just a couple cute indian girls to my dissappoint.

Now I understand why Batman lives there....theirs a regality to the downtown area...the look of the buildings, the upper-class swag emitting from the well off young 20-30 somethings at the spots in downtown. Pretty different. Can't say if I like it more than what we get in the city over here.

Aww man when was you there? I was there from 6/28 - 7/3. Definitely an awesome city!

Pre gaming on the train

Going this weekend, hope it'll be a good time. The two times I went last year for Pitchfork Festival and a WTT show didn't have time to see the city.

I'm glad you liked it! I was at Navy Pier for the 4th of July and just outside of it during the fireworks. I saw the mob of folks in the streets after the fireworks. Now I know it was a shooting like I thought

That HEAT WAVE was RIDICULOUS! It's hecka decent now though.

I live in Chi, work 2 blocks from Volare and drive the exact SUV in the 2nd pic. Haha Glad you had a good time. It's a great city. Sucks about the heat and the fireworks. I live on the west side. There were fireworks as far as the eye could see until about 11:00pm.

To me, Chi looks like a Philly, Baltimore, Boston type city that have areas/spots with people out and about but for the most part the city is kinda dead.

When I was a youngster I always wanted to move to Chicago, then I realized as I got older that I couldn't do their winter or summer.
