As for her job, shouldn't be fired I feel like in that interview if it isn't some psychological issue that just got shattered when she was questioned that somebody may have messed up her long con. The only 2 things that were compared were two individuals that were born one way and identify as something else, their motives, their reasoning, their benefits from doing so or not doing so are irrelevant, tbh.

We get out fair share of people here on NikeTalk who are "shopping for identity," and see hip hop, basketball, and "urban" culture as a way to distinguish themselves from their parents and align themselves with something cool and vibrant.  They "try on" an identity the way they would an article of clothing.  If trends change, they slough it aside.  If it's deemed uncouth or inappropriate for a particular situation, like a job interview, they can easily replace it.  No commitment - or sincerity - is required.  Just another perk of majority privilege - you can be viewed as an individual rather than as a representative of "your group."

Hmm. This almost sounds like men who transition to women and then transition back. I guess they just didn't have their hearts in it!

Reread the post. I referenced an example of what commonly happens in other race threads because that is what's going on in here. Somebody trying to equate a white woman lying about being black as the same thing as a man transitioning in to being a woman is the same type of person that pulls the gay person had it as bad as a black person in the 60s rhetoric. It's tired and old and will never not be offensive. You doing it just in a different shade with the intentions to insult.

If you think a transsexual is comparable to a white person that thinks they're black you're a ******* clown.
