 Hard to believe Jamal hasn't been in the playoffs yet throughout his career...He'll get the taste of the bright lights in the next few weeks where he'll endure more pressure to be even a better super sub than he's shown throughout this regular season...The Hawks can't afford to stand and admire Lebron like they did last postseason...so the new guy has got to bring a new sense of urgency to this club...

found this on a Mavs blog... former Mavericks Gerald Green and Pops Mensah-Bonsu compete in the Russian Cup slam dunk contest. the Euro dudes couldve easily won the NBA's dunk contest this year, but they just couldnt compete with G$, Pops or James White. my homie Keith even makes a few appearances.

....no other comments needed.....James White just crazy with all those free-throw line flights!!!! SMH @ the NBA and particularly at LeBron with its weak nonsense and lack of enthusiasm this year respectively....to be repeated again im sure for years to come....that is until they do a Best of the USA/World vs. Best of the NBA type of format. ^^ i was reading up on a few cats last week. seems like dudes are doing well over there. from a basketball perspective, and financially.

i went to middle school + HS with keith langford. last time i saw him, he was playing with the fort worth flyers (d-league, now the austin toros). talked about how, if he doesnt get called up again... he'd probably go play euro ball.

come to find out... he inked a 2 year, $3mill deal last summer. can't hate. hell, my homie tommy is playing in france for 6 figs.

lots of opportunity overseas.

yup the russian dunk contest was way better than the nba one, regarding gerald allace, can't blame him for his lack of performance, apparently he had bad hamstring that weekend and wass probably forced by stern to suit up anyway, brown though was a major disappointment, all hops with no creativity, with that said, i really like joe johnson and juwan's icons

Lebron probably didnt wanna do it when he found out Gerald Green and James White didnt make on a NBA. Slam dunk Contest for the ages, i said it before, ill say it again.........LBJ.... is it possible that Rondo couldve just borrowed Ray allen's used rising suns because his PE's were left at home? coz to me those kicks look a tad bigger for him... what am i thinking? that would be a long shot possibility... but if Rondo has indeed jumped into the JB wagon, then it'd be nice to see more green JB's... but rockin the rising suns to me isnt the best opening salvo...
