yes i know its only been 3 games, but who do you guys think is the MVP?

-Game 1, Kobe controlled the game with 30 and 6

-Game 2, Ray with 8 threes, most in history accumalting 32 points. Rondo with a triple double

-Game 3, Kobe with 29. Some fools are arguing for Fisher with his brilliant 4th quater. Kg with 25 points.

Kobe with 29ppg 6apg

everyone else is just inconsistent.

Kobe for LA- 27 ppg, 6 rpg, 5 apg, 2 spg, 1 bpg. Although Pau could get it if he has some more huge games (20 ppg, 11 rpg, 4 bpg, 3 apg)

Rondo for Boston- 14 ppg, 7 rpg, 9 apg, 1 spg.

If the Celtics win hard to say only Rondo has been consistent enough to even merit consideration......for the Lakers Pau has been the most consistent but even he had a subpar game 3 scoring wise but that was because of the Guards not going to him enough but his defense has been stellar , so Kobe will probably get it off of his 29 PPG
even though his shooting percentages suck.

Kobe or Rondo... Kobe is like Peyton Manning in the SuperBowl that he won... Numbers can be subpar for his standards, but off of name alone Kobe would get it.

Too early to tell. If I had to give the MVP to someone right now.. My vote goes to the 2 laker bigs

there's no way they would give it to Pau... unless Kobe got injured and Pau led them to victory.

Pau deserves credit for his play, but the bottom line is that Kobe is the leader on the court and sets the tone for everyone else.

That makes no sense.

kobe is averaging 6rpg, 5apg, and 26ppg while averaging 39% from the field, and 25% from 3 in the finals

Pau is averaging 20ppg, 10rpg, 3apg, and 3.7bpg while averaging 57% from the field in the finals.

who's inconsistent?

Who's making the decision? They made Kobe & Shaq co MVPs in the all star game, and we know that was a set up

His name is Pau...

28 of 71. No thanks. If this keeps up and the Lakers win, it should be Pau. This thread is way too early though.

What I'm saying......

Pau? Fisher? no way..

Even if kobe continues with his awful shooting percentage, he will still be MVP if the lakers win... regardless of how well Pau plays..

There was an article on the home page of NBA.com earlier today praising kobe for "helping his team win game 3 even though he didn't shoot well" or some +%%# like that when he clearly sucked *#+*...

NBA is just like any other brand.. they need an icon/symbol and until lebron (or wade or KD or whoever it may be ) takes over, kobe will be this leagues icon

Thats a terrible comparison most of Pau's shots are coming from around the basket so of course hes gonna have a better feild goal percentage, any decent big man should.....and are u really expecting a SG to have more Rebounds or Blocks then there center?
