I like the ones we currently have, but a change is welcomed since the current boxes have been around for so long. I agree with the person who said these are the most durable boxes Jordan made.

I stack my boxes on their side, I find that they tend to hold up a little better that way

Dude they are IMO. You guys need to realize that JB is not going to make the shoe BETTER or with anymore quality than the original shoe itself. I have noticed JB making signifigant effort to make better quality retros worthy of being compared to OGs. Afterall thats what we should be comparing retros to. Not late 90s and early to mid 2000s retros which did have poor quality. But I must ask you and other complainers, What more do you want!?

Ill say it again for those who missed...
The IIIs boxes are made out of paperboard not cardboard. All OG I-XIs came in paperboard boxes with the exception of some XIs that came in cardboard Nike boxes (the old school black/natural/red ones).
They arent flimsy because JB is trying to cut corners they are flimsy because thats how all of the original boxes used to be.

black cover, red Jumpman and having the AIR JORDAN lettering in white, while the
box itself was dark grey and have black tissue inside.
The most boring box was the 2000 to 2005 box (black/silver with MJ's face).
Then the 1997 to 1999 box in silver with red Jumpan and the 20th anniversary
box were OK.
The new one is OK too. Just wondering why the size tag is so large ^^
