Growing up the same era as him I get it. I look at his shoes and this is what I think of instantly:

The shoe is all stuff you saw on older tube TVs. The static, the color bars, the framing/alignment on the tag.


Back in the day, television literally "ended" at night and they threw up the old RCA indian head:

I wonder if the actual zoom unit is segmented, but I know they definitely segmented the forefoot area in the sole to avoid the popping issue they had with the zero.2

Yes. I'm a slightly bigger person though at ~210 pounds, but it felt nice and bouncy. Articulation can be felt well too, not as stiff as the 0.2
