Ryan Clark has always been a real one. I noticed he's different from most of the other analyst with his straight shooting. There's not too much hair on his tongue. Is football the ONLY sport with THIS MANY INJURIES?

Like there’s no other sport out there that has this many players every game being escorted out in some way shape or form having something broken or being concussed

( aside from mma and boxing where the entire point of the sport is to demolish your opponent)

Out of the most popular sports, it's the only one where the injuries heavily impact one's quality of life or literal life.

Bodily injury is characteristic of being human. Torn ACL sucks, but in terms of life, you'll be fine.

This though? The Tua injury, Alex Smith, Teddy B, etc.? I don't see those happening abruptly and violently like they do in football.


When I was in high school my coach was upset about something and went in on us basically saying that we were being allowed to play a man's game with ramifications on life and death.

He directed us to read the warning label on the back of our helmets which I never even realized was there.

Changed my entire understanding of the sport.
